Olympica G3 Collection: acoustic excellence, sculptural design, and fine Italian craftsmanship, inspired by the Teatro Olimpico in Vicenza

Andrea Palladio's final architectural masterpiece, designed in 1580 and inaugurated in 1585. A refined synthesis of Sonus faber's "Natural Sound" timbral philosophy and advanced technologies derived from the flagship Suprema system and related developments integrated into the Amati Supreme model; a completely new collection that preserves the iconic identity of the Olympica range while featuring over ten enhancements compared to the previous generation, delivering lower distortion, higher resolution, faster transient response, enhanced dynamics, and greater transparency, accompanied by admirably focused imaging and an exceptionally broad, immersive soundstage:

  • 3-way floorstanding speaker, handcrafted in Italy;

  • Extremely rigid asymmetrical lute-shaped cabinet with curved sides and strategically reinforced internal structure, meticulously designed down to the smallest detail to eliminate vibration and resonance, and to allow reversing the speaker pair's positioning to choose the configuration best suited to your room;

  • Mid-high frequency section ("The Voice of Sonus faber") featuring tweeter and midrange mounted in an innovative sealed internal chamber lined with a structure carved from solid cork, shaped using advanced precision technologies to achieve an organic form free of regular walls, capable of ensuring a continuous, harmonic, and uniform sound wave flow with accurate resonance control and sound propagation of exemplary naturalness and resolution;

  • Proprietary Sonus faber drivers equipped with neodymium magnetic motors and patented die-cast aluminum Organic Basket frames, shaped with an asymmetric organic profile free of recurring patterns, capable of ensuring flawless structural support and unparalleled airflow efficiency;

  • Stealth Ultraflex aperiodic reflex system for woofer loading with lightning-fast airflow free from unwanted vibrations, made of extruded aluminum and organically integrated along the entire rear panel of the cabinet;

  • 28 mm silk soft dome tweeter with DAD (Damped Apex Dome) arch and ring; 165 mm Camelia midrange with a paper membrane shaped like a camellia flower, unmasked by surrounds and free from the resonances typical of circular-shaped membranes, purposely left unpainted to ensure pristine timbral purity, featuring fabric surrounds and a solid aluminum Copped Cap phase plug equipped with a Damping Ring that actively ensures a linear frequency response both on-axis and off-axis; 2x 165 mm woofers with treated paper membrane and impregnated cloth dust cap;

  • Phase Coherent IFF (Interactive Fusion Filtering) anti-resonant crossover, built with selected high-end components and enhanced by special proprietary dedicated capacitors, featuring special driver filtering based on an accelerated progressive slope effective in reducing back electromotive forces (Back EMF) and circuit sensitivity to radio frequency interference, aided by Phase Coherent technology calibrated to ensure precise synchronization of driver phase rotations, a meticulous alignment that delivers an extremely realistic, defined, and tangible soundstage;

  • Nominal impedance: 4 Ohms, sensitivity: 90 dB SPL (2.83 V / 1 m), frequency response: 42 Hz - 40 kHz, recommended amplifier power output between 50 and 300 Watts;

  • Exquisite satin wengè finish featuring wood grain craftsmanship in a complex herringbone pattern, enriched by precious design details: dark gray matte sandblasted CNC-machined solid aluminum flanges and genuine leather trim framing "The Voice of Sonus faber" (tweeter and midrange) and each woofer; accent profiles with chamfered edges and base equipped with adjustable dark gray matte sandblasted solid aluminum spikes and counter-spikes; inlaid Sf logo on the top panel;

  • Dimensions (W x H x D): 376 x 1104 x 459 mm, weight: 35 kg.
